SCHOOL ASSEMBLY

Clarence brings an emotionally charged presentation with an incredibly effective message, that is powerfully relevant to this generation. He shares with them the need for and how to develop character in their lives. Focusing attention on students’ attitude, words they speak, and decisions they make, he encourages them to develop into the leaders who can make a positive impact in this world.

Clarence uses feats of strength and his strong presence to capture students’ attention as he incorporates examples of overcoming obstacles and challenges in life. Stories he shares from his own life regarding members of his family growing up, can convince a young person to stay away from drugs and alcohol, as well as encourage them to invest in their character to ensure they will not make the same mistake.

EXPERIENCE AND ADAPTATION

Experience speaking to students of all age groups and backgrounds for over ten years has given Clarence the ability to adapt his message to speak directly and most effectively to each particular audience. A common thread addressed in all assemblies is the power of words. Clarence will challenge each student to make choices that lead to positive consequences. He strongly emphasizes that a person may have the freedom of choice, but will never have the freedom from consequences. A positive attitude and character can take a person farther in life than muscles, popularity or money ever could.

IMPACT

The motivation and wisdom received from Clarence’s presentation has made quite an impact in many student’s lives. Some kids have been motivated to stay in school and change the direction their lives were headed. Students have approached Clarence after an assembly and shared with him their decision to leave their gang life, and others decided to not commit suicide. Some schools over the years have noted an improvement on national standardized testing scores following this program. It is certain that many students have been encouraged to make more thoughtful decisions, and take school more seriously, as a result of Clarence’s presentation.

“He did an excellent job relating to the children on their level.   Even though he was talking to them about serious life lessons and implications of using drugs, he did it in  a way they could understand, even making it fun with powerful demonstrations.  I would recommend Clarence Lee for any type of school assembly;  the messages and charisma were on-target and inspiring.” -Kim Masoner, Rayzor Elem. PTA

“I will definitely be recommending you for future visits out here because I truly believe in your dedication to the students and inspiration you spread.” -Marc Tayler Assist. Principal, Colorado

“He is interactive with students and has a great sense of humor that spills over into his presentation and into his very serious challenge.”  -Elizabeth Meyers   Principal, Phoenix, AZ

“The students and staff left the presentation feeling rejuvenated and optimistic about the power of their choices.”  -Karina Sheehan,  Mesa, AZ

“He made his stories light enough to bring laughter to the crowd yet serious enough to bring home his point.  Our students too often have attention problems, but Clarence held their attention throughout the entire hour presentation.”  -Terry Tinich  Pomona H.S.  Pomona, KS

“I do believe your presentation has changed that thinking for him.  Please know that I am eternally grateful.” – Sharon, a parent Seattle, WA
